Loop 3 - Find The Pocket Watch Part Three.Loop 2 - Find The Pocket Watch Part Two.Regardless, I will admit it has been fun reading through forums and posts of other peoples theories. I'd like to believe that there is a theory that encompasses everything and makes sense and that the writers didn't just take the time-loop and make it a gimmick with a forced twist. I've read so many different theories trying to piece together the ending and close all the plot holes. The ending of the game is super ambiguous to the point where there really is no correct way to view the story of the game. Resetting each time the loop ends can be annoying, but at the same time, that's kinda what the game is meant to be and feel like. Without a guide, I definitely would not have figured out the entire story let alone get every achievement and ending by myself, but it was fun to play through the game and discover many of the endings on my own. The story is good but confusing having many obvious plot holes, the voice acting feels natural, and the animations and art are solid. What initially swayed me to buy this game was the creative top-down 3d art style and the name Twelve Minutes excellently capturing the idea of the gameplay and what the game's plot entails. Not worth the full price tag maybe, but worth it on sale probably. But the thing is, that room is pretty much adequately lit regardless, and after getting a shock my instinct is to not touch that switch again rather than immediately hit it a second time.Īnyway, aside from one bit that absolutely baffled me for way too long, I think it was a decent game. If you turn the light on and then drug her she'll turn it off before going to sleep, so if you hide in the closet The Cop will get got when he turns on the light in the room. If you turn the light on and then off and then ask for desert your wife will get zapped. Now, in the devs defence, it turns out there's a bunch of ways to find that out, I just happened to miss them all. No, the secret you have to discover is that if you turn the light on you get a shock, and then if you turn it off and then on again then you get a much more severe shock that'll knock you out for a minute. Can I jam a knife or spoon or keys into the socket? No, which.to be fair that probably wouldn't have gone well for me anyway. Could I block and overflow the toilet? No, though you can apparently flush the watch away so that's a thing. Could I wet the switch or the floor directly? No. I was certain that the dodgy light switch was integral to getting something to happen with The Cop, I tried everything I could think of to make it more conductive. I did get stuck on one part of what should be a very early loop and spent forever trying to work out how to Do A Thing, to get past a certain point, before looking up a walkthrough that clarified what was, to my mind, a very unintuitive solution involving a light switch. Also had to turn all the graphics settings down as far as I could to avoid the cursor lagging, which surprised me, but tbh this isn't about the grand, visual spectacle so I can't say I lost anything by turning the res and graphics down. So I did enjoy this game, bought it ages ago on sale but stopped playing after a while because I was trying to play with a track-pad and uh, yeah considering you're on a time crunch that is not really a great idea.
